Balkhash Region, Central Kazakhstan. Licence area — 80 km². Closest city — Balkhash (270 km via paved road + field road). From Almaty — 430 km, from Astana — 500 km.

Geology

The licence sits along prominent geosyncline complexes to the north and northeast of Lake Balkhash (North Balkhash Megasynclinorium). The volcano-sedimentary sequence within the area is intruded by the Besoba granite massif and by dykes of granite porphyry and dioritic porphyrites. The region hosts 12 known Au/Cu deposits with a combined endowment of 3 Moz Au.

Primary (P2 resources):

• El Dorado — network of thin quartz veinlets in tectonically weakened zones; Au up to 16.6 g/t (trenches), 2.4 g/t (drillholes); resource ~296 koz Au @ 6.9 g/t
• Captain Morgan — dyke-related mineralization hosted in carbonaceous siltstones associated with granite porphyry dykes; Au up to 11.8 g/t (trenches), 0.9 g/t (drillholes); resource ~73 koz Au @ 2.95 g/t
• Port Royal — hard rock and placer gold; active artisanal mining ongoing as of September 2025; ore thickness 1–1.3 m, mined to depths of up to 16 m; near-term production potential

• Diplomático — Au up to 2.6 g/t (drillholes); gold mineralization spatially associated with granite porphyry dyke
