TENIZ RESOURCES

The Teniz basin is a direct analogy — the same sedimentary basin.

Oil and gas exploration data confirm:

  • Identical source rocks.
  • Similar structural conditions.
  • Equivalent host rocks.
  • Presence of the same reductants.

Surface copper ($Cu$) mineralisation confirms:

  • A unified fluid transport mechanism.
  • Similar mineral precipitation conditions.
  • Comparable ore grade potential.

No modern exploration work has been carried out.

Licence term — 6 years.

A single extension of a further 5 years is available (subject to relinquishment of 40% of the area). The world’s largest copper deposit in copper-bearing sandstones (sedimentary type).

7 licences — total area 2,955 sq. km:

Northern block — 880 sq. km.

Southern block — 2,075 sq. km.

20 drill holes from 200 m to 3,000 m (1980s data). A methane inflow was recorded from borehole OR-15 over 30 hours at a depth of 812 m within the Vladimirovsky Formation, within the Kokpekty anticline. Indicative of an oil trap on this fold.

Soviet soil sampling data overlaid on ASTER imagery confirm the presence of copper anomaly trends in soils extending over tens of kilometres.
