Geological

The geological direction of Aurora Group covers all stages of geological exploration of solid minerals - from early assessment of prospects to the preparation of reports according to international standards.

Search for promising territories for geological exploration

We help to find promising territories based on a comprehensive analysis of all available data for subsequent obtaining a license for geological exploration.

How it happens:

  • Formation of goals and search criteria;
  • Search, obtain and analyze geological information;
  • Classification of areas according to prospects;
  • Reconnaissance missions;
  • Preparing recommendations for further work.

Result:

List of priority areas with justification of potential and risks for subsequent licensing.

Planning exploration programs

We develop exploration programs tailored to the project objectives, stage of exploration and investment logic.

How we work:

  • Assess the completeness and quality of the source data;
  • Search, obtain and analyze geological information;
  • We formulate goals and priorities for geological exploration;
  • We develop work programs in accordance with requirements quality control QA/QC.

Result:

  • Structured exploration program;
  • Budget, volumes and timing of geological exploration work.

Database creation and analysis of geological information

We collect, digitize, systematize and analyze historical geological, geophysical and drilling data in order to build a unified geological model and determine priority areas for further work.

What we do:

  • Linking and digitization of historical materials;
  • Creation of a unified electronic database of the project;
  • Data analysis in 2D and 3D environments.

Result:

Reliable and structured database suitable for analysis, reporting and strategic decision making.

Geological survey, mapping and geochemical research

Aurora Group has experience in geological surveying, mapping and geochemical studies of various types of mineral deposits.

  • Geological and structural mapping of the territory;
  • Description of outcrops and identification of mineralization zones;
  • Selection of soil, lithogeochemical and ore samples;
  • Processing and interpretation of geological and geochemical data;
  • Preparing recommendations for further prospecting and exploration work.

Result:

Identification of promising areas, identification of prospecting targets and preparation of recommendations for further geological exploration work.

Geological support of mining and drilling operations

We provide a full cycle of geological support for mining and drilling operations:

  • Placement of mine workings and wells;
  • Geological documentation and photographic documentation of ditches, pits and cores;
  • Coring and sampling;
  • Preparing and sending samples to laboratories;
  • Maintaining sampling and geological documentation databases.

All work is carried out in compliance with all QA/QC requirements.

Evident VANTA Field Multielement Rapid Analysis (PXRF)

Aurora Group uses the Vanta Max portable X-ray fluorescence spectrometer, which allows the determination of more than 40 chemical elements directly in the field.

What does it give:

  • Instant results;
  • Laboratory accuracy;
  • On-the-spot solutions.

What we offer:

Complete multi-element analysis in less than a minute with georeferencing and GIS integration.

Full support of geological exploration work at various stages

Aurora Group provides comprehensive management of exploration projects – from the planning stage to field and desk work.

What’s included:

  • Project management and deadline control;
  • Support of field work;
  • Desk processing and interpretation of data;
  • Monitoring compliance with international standards.

Result:

The customer receives a controlled exploration process with transparent decision-making logic and quality control at every stage.

Estimation of mineral resources and reserves

Aurora Group provides assessment, analysis and technical audit services for mineral resources and reserves in accordance with international reporting codes NI 43-101 and JORC/KAZRC.

The work is carried out jointly with Australian consultants IMS (International Mining Services Ltd), who have extensive international experience in preparing reports on various types of minerals.

Why is this important:

  • Preparation of projects for investment;
  • Increasing confidence on the part of investors and banks;
  • Compliance with international disclosure requirements.

Conducting an independent geological examination

Aurora Group provides independent geological assessment, assessment and technical audit of exploration projects in accordance with international standards and industry best practices.

Why does the customer need this? An independent examination allows to make sure that the project:

  • Complies with international requirements (NI 43-101, JORC, KAZRC);
  • Relies on correct and reproducible data;
  • Ready for public disclosure, investment valuation and further development.
